Offset and Cardi B aren't just coasting along in their marriage—they're always working on improvements.
The 31-year-old—who tied the knot with the "I Like It" artist in 2017—recently revealed one of the couple's secrets to a successful marriage, crediting their mutual aim to "make each other better" in a May 24 interview with Variety.
The Migos rapper went on to call his wife his "bestie" before praising her strengths. "She always got my back, right or wrong," he said. "We both are on the same mission to make each other better."
Offset added that he and Cardi—who are parents to Kulture, 4, and Wave, 20 months—take business advice from the other as well.
"Social is her strong point, so I listen to her social advice," he noted. "And me, it's the music, but I play behind the scenes; it's my wife so I want to make sure she win."
According to Offset, his relationship with Cardi is what drives both of them forward, in fact, and ensures mutual success.
"We are a great team," he proclaimed. "We're a powerhouse at this point—icon status. We believe in God. We believe in family. We're always going to keep winning."
Echoing his sentiments, Cardi told the outlet, "What I appreciate about my husband is that no matter what issue I am having personally or professionally, I know he will take care of me and our family. It's handled. I fully support him in this next chapter of his music career."
The veritable power couple's love story began as a whirlwind romance, with their first date at the 2017 Super Bowl leading to a secret wedding just months later in September. Though rumors of infidelity made for tumultuous times marked by two divorce filings by Cardi, the couple has remained resilient, expressing their unwavering dedication to each other and their family.
Recently, Offset took Kulture and Kalea—his daughter from a previous relationship—to the premiere of The Little Mermaid in Hollywood on May 8, showcasing their adorable bond. The girls looked picture-perfect in their gowns featuring black flower detailing, with Offset himself coordinating in a black and white ensemble.
In an Instagram post following the event, he captioned pictures of the evening with, "Mermaid premiere with my princesses."
